Utilities Project Manager – Greenville, NC USA

As the Projects and Utilities Manager you will be responsible for Project Management, Engineering and Utilities function. Also, provide improvements support and project management services and oversee all capital and expense project support functions. You will oversee strategy for site improvements, utilities and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
–Address and report any SHE and Security incidents (including observed risks) to management
–Develop and lead a high performing team, encourage and appreciate positive behavior/ thinking; discourage behaviors that do not align with company Values.
–Optimize manufacturing/ production.
–Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and effective manner, ensure policies are followed. Take action to correct unsafe acts, systems, and procedures.
–Provide leadership to the Projects and Utilities function and facilitates teamwork within the department and across locally and globally.
–Provides managerial communication and/or direction to the departments. Establishes and maintains an open line of communication with all departmental staff.
–Develop strategies for Manufacturing Plan, LTE plan, LTO requirements, Supply & Demand planning and Sustainability.
–Lead overall site strategy for utility/ plant system improvements. (Including Gas, Electric, Water & Sewer, Fire Systems, Security Systems, MES, Phone, IT, Automation).
–Lead Sustainability (EEI, GHG, Waste and Water) efforts for site.
–Lead the Project team to implement approved equipment upgrade projects and equipment addition projects.
–Ensure Engineering Documentation for each Project is properly generated and provided for archiving according to site SOP’s and corporate work processes.
Provide technical expertise and tools to improve productivity of project implementation.
–Ensure Project Engineering activities comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, SOP’s.
–Manage large capital projects as required to meet company objectives
–Supervise and enforce the training, execution, and assessment of SHE requirements. Comply with all job-related safety and training requirements.
–Manage performance of staff, identify and address any performance issues. Provide training and opportunities for career development of staff.
Experience:
–MS in a technical field plus 5 years of relevant experience or BS in a technical field plus 7 years of relevant experience or AAS with 8 years of relevant experience or 9 years of relevant experience.
–5+ Years Experience supervising employees .
–Experience managing projects in excess of $1M – $5M.
–Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook.
–Skilled PC use and able to learn new software quickly.
–Able to coordinate team efforts and keep the group informed and organized.
–Ability to effectively interact with a variety of departments and resolve conflicts.
–Able to work in the US without sponsorship.
