Opportunity to join our Global Chemical Client as the Site Maintenance/ Reliability Engineer. Participate on the Engineering Team to maintain and upgrade the process, fixed and rotating equipment. Implement the MI program to ensure compliance with OSHA process safety standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

–Responsible for the preventive and predictive maintenance job plans and rebuild procedures.

–Implement job plans and integrate into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

–Optimize maintenance task frequencies per manufacturer recommendations or plant experience.

–Assist with equipment monitoring condition through routine inspections including vibration surveillance, non-destructive examination of fixed equipment, IR imaging, and lubrication analysis.

–Participate in equipment failure investigations and cause analysis and implement action items to prevent recurrence using Cause Analysis tools.

–Support the Reliability Technicians with day to day troubleshooting of equipment problems, as needed

–Monitor and adjust specific equipment tolerances and specifications.

–Optimize the equipment lubrication program.

–Assist with the optimization of spare parts based on usage and failure analysis. Work with stores to retire obsolete/unused spare parts.

–Collect data on mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR) for critical equipment.

–Continuously audit work order historical data and make improvements.

–Manage filing and archiving of regulatory maintenance forms.

–Support and train technicians and operators to improve capability and skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

–BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with 3+ years experience with maintenance/ reliability programs in chemical, refinery, pulp & paper, or related PSM industries.

–Experience with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, RCA, vibration and lubrication analysis, and CMMS.

–Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is preferred.
