Chemical Process Engineer
This rapidly growing specialty chemical plant is in the suburbs of downtown Charlotte NC and is in the middle of a multimillion-dollar expansion. Responsibilities include production support, process optimization using six sigma techniques, resolving quality issues derived from customer input, HAZOP reviews, scale up of new processes, and performing DOE’s. This site uses reactors and mixing. This position is eligible for a performance bonus with the salary based on years of experience and relocation assistance if offered. The parent company has multiple US sites.
Experience BS Chemical Engineer with 4+ years out of any PSM regulated plant as a process or production engineer. Experience with PLC or DCS controls, six sigma, scale up and project work would be a plus.
