The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations across fiber and LP manufacturing areas. This role provides leadership for project implementation, equipment readiness, maintenance coordination, and operational excellence initiatives, with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and cost control.
Responsibilities:

–Lead cross-functional teams for capital projects and major equipment shutdowns/start-ups.

–Act as the operations liaison for engineering projects, ensuring alignment with production needs, safety standards, and training requirements.

–Oversee daily maintenance planning, execution, and long-term reliability improvements.

–Support continuous improvement in cost, productivity, safety, and quality.

–Supervise team performance and development, promoting collaboration and accountability.

–Monitor and manage budgets, analyze variances, and drive expense control.

–Review and approve operational procedures, training plans, and documentation.

–Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

–Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience).

–Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or operations.

–Strong understanding of production systems, maintenance planning, and project integration.

–Able to read P&IDs and develop effective startup and operational plans.

–Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments and process improvement efforts.
