Great opportunity to Lead the Technical and Operations Training program for an expanding chemical leader. This is a strategic and highly technical role to develop and implement a new Site Training program to meet the cGMP sitewide manufacturing compliance initiatives. Responsibilities:
–Deliver and facilitate training programs, supporting a 24/7 work environment (will flex schedule to meet off-shift training needs on nights and weekends).
–Conduct training assessments, develop and conduct sound training and access outcomes.
–Partner with Safety, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams to provide support and meet training needs.
–Create and maintain program documentation to support the overall structured manufacturing training program.
–Coordinate with Managers, Supervisors, and Human Resources to access training needs.
–In partnership with Area Supervisors, ensure that the process for managing learning assessment failures is defined and implemented effectively.
–Ensure all Production & Assembly (P&A) Operators are performing assigned tasks according to the safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
–Track and monitor training compliance including notification of needed training, execution and follow up, and communicate periodic status reports.
–Benchmark actual workstation production sequence/conditions against current job-task list and training program materials
–Review and update department program documentation and production work instructions.
–Participate in the development of continuous improvement of training materials required to comply with the standards of the plant.
–Ensure corporate, departmental and contractor training requirements are met and all required training is completed, documented and filed to maintain cGMP compliance.
–Work with subject matter experts to create/update procedures, SOPs and conduct GMP training/design as required.
–Partner with external departments to address corrective actions pertaining to procedures and writing/coordinating cross-functional controlled documents/planned deviations.
–Develop a Site Annual Training Plan for the delivery of curriculum topics, including required GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) training.
Qualifications:
–Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, engineering, or human resources with 5+ years experience as a Technical/ Industrial Trainer in chemical plants requiring OSHA, PSM, ISO, GMP compliance.
–Prior success in designing, implementing and maintaining manufacturing training programs, meeting cGMP compliance standards.
–Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
–Excellent leadership, team building and management skills
