Outstanding opportunity as Sales/ Account Manager for global leader of high performance, engineered fibers. Become the face of the company to the customer to establish sales in line with the segment strategy, deliver targeted performance, and further develop the Sales/ Marketing plans. Remote based position requiring 30-50% travel covering North American region.
— BS Engineering or Science degree with 5+ years experience in sales/ account management of polymers, polyethylene, fibers/ yarn, or other engineered materials. Applications include high performance textiles, protective gloves, life protection, composites and laminates.
— Experienced with negotiation techniques in business to business & industrial product market combinations including planning & forecasting, sales and segmentation.
— Energetic driver with entrepreneurial experience in sales and business growth
— Experience in multinational, corporate and industrial selling companies
— Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
— Responsible for key account management, sales plans and customer services in the product applications area. Provides market intelligence and market info. Managing end user relations. Coordinates sales, tech service and marketing activities for assigned customers. Develop new business in region.
— Develop and execute regional account plans and segment strategy.
— Attend / report bi-weekly meetings with team and a monthly global meeting
— Manage and update monthly the product demand planning. Shared responsibility with other sales managers for sales budget of the region.
— Maintain and improve professionalism by KPI’s (planning, contracts) per customer. Improve forecast accuracy, including a 15 month sales plan.
— Manages working capital (customer cash flow). Set prices within pricing policy. Set up agreements with customers/ partners. Allocates Technical Service to customers.
