This leadership role is responsible for both the strategic and hands-on direction of the site’s maintenance and reliability functions. Reporting to the General Manager and serving on the plant leadership team, this person will oversee all maintenance crafts while driving long-term reliability improvements across operations. The ideal candidate will strengthen mechanical integrity programs, improve asset performance, and ensure safe, consistent, and efficient plant operation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead maintenance and reliability programs to enhance equipment uptime and reduce unplanned outages.

Partner with plant leadership to prioritize projects and align maintenance goals with production objectives.

Develop and implement strategies that balance short-term needs with long-term reliability improvements.

Oversee turnaround planning, scheduling, and execution.

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Supervise and mentor maintenance and reliability teams, including supervisors, planners, engineers, and specialists.

Champion PSM and HSE initiatives and support continuous improvement across the site.

Conduct root cause analyses to identify and eliminate recurring equipment issues.

Contribute to mechanical integrity program development and ensure adherence to industry codes and best practices.

Participate in annual maintenance budgeting and cost optimization.

Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain consistent plant-wide communication and execution.
Qualifications:

10+ years of industrial maintenance and reliability experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)

Demonstrated success leading teams and influencing results across departments.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Working knowledge of ASME, API, and other applicable codes preferred.
