The Quality Manager will lead the Quality function for a global manufacturing leader,  and manage a staff Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians and Quality Inspectors in multiple plants.  Responsible for meeting quality customer requirements.



— Lead cross functional Quality strategies to ensure the overall plant compliance to customer requirements, IATF: 16949, and the Internal Quality Management System.

— Manage Quality Engineers to ensure timely and effective closure of customer complaints.

— Meet and/or transition Quality System requirements as necessary to meet customer satisfaction requirements.

— Responsible to represent the “Voice of the Customer” inside production operations to assure alignment between Launch requirements and actions, QMS (Quality Management Systems), Quality Production requirements, Commercial, and customer expectations.

— Primary plant contact for all Quality issues associated with Plant Production.

— Ensure plant customer complaints are immediately contained and corrective actions are implemented and verified.

— Ensure departmental created documentation is organized and readily accessible.

— Provide support as required for the various value stream activities with to effectively implement procedures and systems and ensure conformance to system and customer requirements.

— Participate in discussions with Organizational and Plant management including presentations of strategies, goals, activities, in all areas of responsibility.

— Formulate training plans for continued improvement of associates’ skills to meet changing organizational needs.

— Prepare annual department capital, expense and manpower budgets.  Ensure budget compliance throughout area of supervision.

— Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for internal and external quality performance and manage associated corrective action activities as required.

— Drive continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility

— Lead problem solving activities within the plant to support operations or customer responsiveness.



— Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field with 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing as a Quality Leader

— 2 years of management experience of large teams

— Shainin method experience and Black-Belt certification are required

— Automotive quality experience strongly desired

— Strong analytical problem-solving background.

— AIAG Core Tools

— CQM, CQE, or CQR preferred

— Ability to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future
