This an attractive job working at a large specialty chemical plant whose parent company has multiple US and overseas sites in which they offer a great work/life balance with low turnover rates, and a plant that is well maintained and clean. This person will serve as the Project Engineer/Project Manager on retrofits and upgrades with budgets from $20K to $5M overseeing entire projects from concept through to installation. This person will be a be a jack of all trades and will be called on to support projects not only for operating equipment such as reactors and distillation columns, but also for utilities, building additions and foundation support. Responsibilities include, project coordination, tracking project timelines, data analysis, vendor management, budget management, and working with engineering firms. — B.S. Chemical Engineering degree with 2+ years’ experience out of a chemical manufacturing environment with in-plant hands on experience
— Nice to have but not necessary would be experience managing projects with minimum budgets of $100K, ideally up to $1M
