Qualifications:

— BS Engineering degree in Mining, Metallurgy or Mineral Processing with 5+ years of Process/ Production Engineering experience in the mining, cement, lime, or mineral processing industries is required

— Requires background in product conveying, mineral processing, chemical engineering, chemistry, materials handling, and familiarity with regulatory requirements with respect to emission monitoring and control

— Expertise with computer and software applications for maintaining key operating guidelines for product quality, budget calculations, environmental calculations, and statistical manipulations

— Six sigma training is desired

— Ability to work in USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities:

— Responsible for optimizing the process control and production of the calciners, dryer, coal system, and associated operating equipment in the Mill Area

— Troubleshoot operational delays, reduce bottlenecks, and identify mechanical problems

— Coordinate daily production and process trials with other departments

— Track performance and initiate process modifications, to ensure production tonnage meets or exceeds plan

— Address maintenance problems, either through modifications and the work order system, or by requesting capital funds for improvements

— Conduct employee training to communicate changes in operating parameters and new installed equipment

— Maintain the required quality specifications of both the dried rock and calcined rock

— Improve the reliability of the operating equipment and optimizing the process

— Monitor and document all calcining and drying emissions data in compliance with Title V and any other involved regulatory agency

— Participate in crew meetings on a monthly basis to improve safety and environmental awareness
