Great opportunity to join a global innovative manufacturing leader in the plant supply chain group, with responsibility for coordinating material supplies to meet production demands. Requires extensive background working with plant and suppliers to maintain target inventory levels while meeting KPIs.

Responsibilities:

—Coordinate material/ inventory levels to meet production demands.

—Evaluate solutions to reduce obsolete or excessive materials through analysis, review and creation of scrap authorizations.

—Proactively schedule supplier meetings to identify risks and collaborate to mitigate impact to values stream.

—Work with cross functiional teams to reduce lead time, maximize transportation efficiency, minimize company costs, manage and schedule transportation (expediting as needed to meet production demands).

—Escalate part shortages to appropriate party to minimize impact.

—Apply analytical and qualitative methods to enhance supply chain KPI’s.

—Calculate the most economic quantity for materials orders.

—Maintain MRP settings and min/max inventory levels in SAP.

—Establish partnership with supplier counterparts.

—Execute and maintain logistics protocol.

—Track and monitor shipments to expedite and chargeback when needed.

Qualifications:

—Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field with 3+ years experience in supply chain/ material planning within international/ global manufacturing suppliers.

—Preferred APICS, CPIM or higher certification

—Strong understanding of multilevel BOM structure, ERP and SAP systems
