Exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturing leader as the Maintenance Shift Supervisor. As a part of the Maintenance Team, this off-shift role provides leadership for continuous improvement of equipment and production efficiency. Requires a solid Engineering/ Technical background with prior shift supervisory experience in Plant Maintenance.
Responsibilities:
—Coordinate maintenance shift labor schedule and assign daily responsibilities to team members to ensure maximum equipment uptime to meeting production requirements.
—Oversee maintenance team members for maintenance issues and downtime communication during assigned shifts.
—Conduct daily shift start-up and safety tool box meetings to ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations.
—Maintain company standards for quality of work order data, processes, daily maintenance, and documentation.
—Manage daily equipment maintenance log; for all down equipment, equipment waiting on parts, and all non-critical issues on shift.
—Manage work priorities by evaluating plant needs and make critical decisions for equipment based on input from trades, operations, quality, or supply chain.
—Provide information to operations group lead, team lead, and team members before, during, and after assigned shifts.
—Oversee inventory to identify and locate spare parts, order necessary parts, filling out proper requisitions, and determine stock and inventory requirements.
—Follow and uphold company Standard Operating Procedure for escalations, HR duties, and environmental health, safety, and quality policies/procedures.
Requirements:
—BS Engineering degree with 5+ years as Maintenance Team Leader in manufacturing plants.
—Willing to work off-shift manufacturing schedule.
—Experience with CMMS software/ processes and preventive/ predictive maintenance programs.
