Outstanding opportunity to join a state of the art, global chemical leader as a part of the plant management team.  The Plant Reliability Manager provides Strategic Ownership of the Maintenance/ Reliability program and development of the team.  Requires prior success in driving continuous improvements for stability of the operations and equipment reliability.  Client offers excellent compensation, benefits, bonus and relocation options.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

— Provides day to day direction for maintenance and reliability team (~ 11 staff) and also career development / succession planning.

— Drives improvement of maintenance and reliability performance/ work processes using KPIs.

— Accountable for all site maintenance (routine and turnarounds) and reliability projects.

— Maintains compliance with all PSM/ OSHA 1910.119 and environmental regulations.

— Manages maintenance/reliability services sub-contractors in maintaining plant site systems including equipment documentation, training, maintenance, reliability and spare parts.

— Develops and implements the annual strategic objectives and budget for the Maintenance & Reliability Group to support the directives for the plant and monitors performance and cost effectiveness to meet goals.

— Support the achievement of overall site operational objectives related to safety, health, environment, production, cost, equipment reliability, equipment availability, manpower utilization, etc.

— Monitors timely completion of safety, environmental, and equipment related corrective actions to meet site management expectations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

— BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 15+ years in Maintenance/ Reliability Engineering/ Management in a PSM regulated Chemical Plant. 

— 10+ years of progressive Leadership experience in chemical plant maintenance.

— Solid understanding of maintenance and reliability “best practices”.

— Experience with PSM systems and hazardous processes (OSHA 1910.119), CMMS, RCA, PM and Maintenance Work Process.

— Reliability or Professional Engineering Certification preferred.

— Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
