Great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Millwright to join an expanding global chemical company. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the chemical plant site.
— Responsible for the maintenance of the building/facilities, plant utilities, equipment, and machinery (including chemical production lines).
— Repair, install, service, and maintain plant process equipment, utility systems/ networks (chillers, boilers, etc.), fixed equipment, etc.
— Perform preventative, predictive maintenance procedures, and basic pipefitting for industrial mechanical and electrical equipment.
— Perform required regulatory checks on vessels, tanks and equipment in direct support of EPA and DHEC requirements.
— Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles.
— Assemble and install equipment, involving the use of hand tools and power tools.
— Operate forklifts, man lifts, scaffolding, rigging equipment and other lifting devices for moving process equipment, etc.
