Great opportunity to lead the Inside Technical Sales program for a global equipment manufacturer. As part of the Business Development Team, you will manage in-house accounts, the sales administration process, and support for existing customers. Requires a high level of technical and business savvy as well as a successful history of pricing and marketing strategies.
— Responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and supporting the outside sales team. Conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and in person.
— Prepare proposals in compliance with customer requirements and within company pricing guidelines.
— Review and negotiate customer contracts
— Manage the sales administration process. Monitor and report on sales metrics. Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
— Develop and implement marketing and sales plans for assigned accounts. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts.
— Collaborate with sales leadership on strategic initiatives to meet and exceed goals. Compile and utilize customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products. Develop and propose sales call programs in collaboration with the sales team.
— Provide sales/ technical support for new and existing customers
— Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting as requested/required by Business Unit Director
— Participate in the development of annual business plan and sales forecasts
— BS Engineering or Business degree with 5+ years experience B2B inside sales, marketing, product/ customer support for industrial manufactured products. Industries/ applications include aerospace, medical device, energy/ power components, military, and industrial equipment.
— Experience in negotiating terms & conditions and pricing
— Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
— Proven self-starter with the initiative and drive to follow through on projects and assignments with limited oversight and direction
— Experienced with Excel, CRM, MRP systems/ software
— Ability to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future
