Our chemical client is looking for an Electrical Reliability Engineer to provide day-to-day technical expertise and reliability support for the power distribution and related controls/ instrumentation systems interface. Offering excellent salary, bonus, benefits and relocation package.

Qualifications:

–BS Electrical Engineering with 8+ years experience in Electrical/ Power Distribution/ Controls Maintenance/ Reliability in chemical, refinery, or pulp & paper industries

–Experience in maintenance, engineering, reliability, and controls systems.

–Familiar with NEC and IEEE standards as well as the Electrical Reliability portion of PSM compliance.

–Ability to work now or in the future without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

–Develop and manage reliability program for electrical equipment, including specific work procedures, preventative and predictive maintenance programs

–Support, develop and implement strategies for improving instrumentation and process monitoring equipment reliability.

–Troubleshoot major electrical issues & provide technical support to the operations & maintenance teams as required.

–Lead or participate on teams to upgrade electrical equipment ranging from incremental improvements to major technology changes.

–Execute the MOC for improvements in equipment and control (Process change requests, Change of design, etc.).

–Ensure process related equipment maintenance systems and programs are in place and that such programs are operated in a safe and efficient manner to meet regulatory requirements

–Lead or take part in cross-functional teams; RCM, RCA and Six Sigma, Investigations, and Equipment Improvement.

–Analyze and drive utility usage & cost savings programs.
