As the Corporate Reliability / Equipment Manager you’ll play a strategic role in enhancing rotating equipment reliability across multiple plant sites. This senior leader collaborates with site engineers and maintenance leaders to develop Corporate Guidelines, Standards, Specifications, and Procedures. The role encompasses troubleshooting, turnaround planning, overseeing machinery labor during overhauls, and implementing condition monitoring programs.

Qualifications:

–BS Mechanical Engineering degree with 10+ years experience as Reliability / Machinery Manager in heavy chemical or refinery industries.
–15 years of verifiable experience managing high-pressure centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
–10 years of experience in heavy chemicals or refining on large turbomachinery.
–Professional Engineers License or CMRP preferred.

Responsibilities:

–Lead corporate collaboration with chemical plant site engineers in troubleshooting, RCA, and standards development.
–Implement, improve, and monitor compressor health monitoring systems, ensuring personnel training.
–Provide input into capital projects, emphasizing maintainability and reliability.
–Oversee major overhauls of compressors and pumps during maintenance turnarounds.
–Analyze problems and troubleshoot to systematically determine root causes.
–Utilize computer programs for vibration analysis, data analysis, and planning.
–Develop and manage cross-disciplined teams with site-based personnel, including Plant Managers, Maintenance Managers, Operations Managers, Engineers, and Maintenance Technicians.
