As a Production/Process Engineer, you will provide production/process engineering support to the site for ongoing production operations and new process introductions. You will also serve as a resource for implementing engineering studies, designs, evaluations, and improvements to optimize utilizations.
Key responsibilities:
” Determine continuous improvement opportunities and implement improvements in the production units to optimize utilization (throughput, quality, safety, efficiency).
” Assist in day-to-day troubleshooting of equipment and processes
” Monitor productivity, process yields, and product and process performance to meet production commitments in an efficient manner.
” Develops plans and coordinates projects from inception to completion ensuring efficient implementation, timely completion, and compliance to budget.
” Ensure employees are trained on new and/or updated process changes and equipment design.
” Ensure operating procedures are current and in compliance with appropriate standards.

Key requirements:
” Bachelor’s degree, in Chemical Engineering is a MUST
” 3-10 years experience as a Production Engineer or similar, preferably in high-hazard chemical plants (OSHA PSM)
” Working knowledge of Process Controls System
” Experience with or working knowledge of the following preferred; controls systems such as Honeywell or Allan Bradley; OE (Operational Excellence)
” Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suites such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
” Strong communication and interpersonal skills
