Qualifications:
 
-Requires a 4-year college degree. BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
-Technical training/experience desired: SPC, PSM, BAPP, Hazop, Root Cause Analysis.
-Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
-Proficient in the use of a computer and computer applications such as MS Office and SAP.
- MUST BE authorized to work for any employer in the USA without current or future restrictions.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
-Monitor and direct daily production activities.
-To know, understand, and ensure the unit is operated within its limits according to all applicable policies and regulatory permits.
-Provide assistance to operations personnel to ensure safe operation of the plant.
-Provide plant personnel needed process knowledge.
-Track production and unit consumption rates.
-Control operating costs.
-Review operating data daily and report and Investigate deviations from set operating parameters and initiate corrective actions.
-Trouble-shoot and resolve equipment and operating problems in the plant.
-Monitor environmental emissions and wastewater discharge.
-Ensure that work orders are entered correctly and approved in a timely manner.
-Establish and maintain positive relationships with all site, corporate, and external stakeholders.
-Assist the Operations Manager in improving effectiveness and efficiency of plant Operations.
-Provide vacation relief for Operations Manager.
-Train and ensure operations personnel are qualified to safely perform their assigned duties.
-Maintain and develop operating procedures Ensure all operations personnel know and receive their required regulatory, safety, and environmental training.
-Identify needed process modifications and equipment changes to improve plant operations.
-Support and participate in all training initiatives as required.
-Assist in PHA reviews, Regulatory, Environmental, Safety, and ISO audits, and ensure that action items resulting from these audits and safety incidents are completed.
-Attend and conduct safety meetings and area inspections of the plant. To ensure that action items resulting from these meetings are completed.     
-Assist Maintenance and Engineers with Capital Projects work and design and evaluate unit operations for process improvements.
 
 

Salary: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00
