Begin your career as a Junior Civil/Structural Engineer with this well established firm.  You will be performing various Civil and Structural design duties on assigned projects, including, but not limited to, industrial process areas, structural steel and platforms, and various foundation types.  You will grow and develop in your abilities and interests together with the company.  
 
Responsibilities:
 
— Assist Civil/Structural Engineers and Project Manager(s) in developing bids, proposals, scopes of work, scope changes, correspondence, estimates, schedules, material lists, design concepts, design drawings, calculations, and other project documentation per customer and corporate guidelines
— Assist and perform field work and technical research as directed
— Perform the necessary drawing design and develop drawings suitable for construction as directed in coordination with licensed Professional and Structural Engineers
— Maintain project files and documentation
— Certify accuracy and completeness of all deliverable products and services in assigned areas of responsibility
— Maintain project(s) budget and schedule
 
Qualifications: 
 
— Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering, with a Structural focus, from an ABET accredited institution, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
— One (1) or more years design experience utilizing AutoCAD, version 2013 or later
— One (1) or more years design experience with Autodesk Revit Structure, version 2008 or later
— Ability to successfully handle multiple projects and assignments
— Aptitude for learning new software
— Some field work experience in a heavy industrial environment
— Working knowledge of Engineering Drawing and CAD Standards
— Working knowledge in obtaining detailed field dimensions utilizing the proper tools
— Working knowledge of requirements for incorporating safety, maintainability, and operation into a design
— Experience in the layout of equipment and steel
— Proven skills in Microsoft Windows applications, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office
— Two (2) or more years of heavy industrial experience
— Experience in an industrial chemical processing environment is a plus
— The ability to collect design information and verify tie- ins, function and clearances
— Structural Steel Design experience is a plus
— Ability to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
 
 

Salary: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00
