Outstanding opportunity with global chemical leader to join the plant site management team as the Operational Excellence champion.  This is a strategic role to Identify and deliver site-wide improvement projects to drive and increase the maturity of the Site. Serve as the Lean/ Six Sigma expert.
 
Responsibilities:
 
— Oversee and direct the Site’s continuous improvement initiative with respect to people, practices and performance.
— Lead CI projects to meet objectives and milestones, within budget and timelines, utilizing the Lean Six Sigma methodology.
— Monitor and reports on best practice implementation and performance progress to Site Management.
— Directs and coaches the Site Trainer – Continuous Improvement.
— Lead area / operational diagnostics to identify value improvements.
— Develop, mentor and coach Green and Black Belts to successfully execute LSS improvement projects.
— Provide data driven feedback with all teammates on site to influence tangible savings and drive cultural change.
— Manage and report on the site CI and Value portfolio in collaboration with site finance and measure sheet owners.
— Support multiple facilities and spend time supporting CI in other company locations.
— Provide on-going support for Safety, Health, Environmental site compliance relevant to CI initiatives.
— Complies with cGMP compliance requirements including quality, SOPs, training, reporting/ documentation.
— Deploys CI with all functional groups within the plant to engage and drive initiatives by means of strong communication and presentation, convincing messaging. 
 
Qualifications:
 
— BS Engineering degree with 5-10 years of experience in Lean/ Six Sigma/ Continuous Improvement Operational roles within chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, or related industries. Experienced in Manufacturing Operations Excellence.
— Lean Six Sigma Trained, Green Belt required,  Black Belt preferred.
— Project Management Skills
— Proficiency in Lean problem solving, root cause and waste reducing tools, processes and concepts.
— Strong team player and leadership with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
— Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Mini tab, MS Project etc.
— Able to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.  
 

 
 
 
 

Salary: $120,000.00 – $135,000.00
